An Optimal Algorithm for Over-the-Air Reprogramming Protocol in WSNs  [PDF]
Ting WEN, Zhi LI
Communications and Network (CN) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/cn.2009.12017
Abstract: The over-the-air reprogramming has played an important role in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), and has been widely researched. But the problems of low efficiency and high energy consumption have brought new challenges to the research. This paper presents an optimal algorithm, it is targeted to address the problem of relatively low efficiency and high energy consumption in over-the-air reprogramming in WSNs. Simulation results demonstrate that the optimal algorithm can improve the efficiency of over-the-air reprogramming in WSNs, and make the energy consumption in network not only lower but more balanced.
A Domain Extension Algorithm for Digital Error Correction of Pipeline ADCs  [PDF]
Ting Li, Chao You
Circuits and Systems (CS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/cs.2014.52006
Abstract:

A domain extension algorithm to correct the comparator offsets of pipeline analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) is presented, in which the 1.5-bit/stage ADC quantify domain is extended from a three-domain to a five-domain. This algorithm is designed for high speed and low comparator accuracy application. The comparator offset correction ability is improved. This new approach also promises significant improvements to the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR), the total harmonic distortion (THD), the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the minor analog and digital circuit modifications. Behavioral simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm, in which all absolute values of comparator offsets are set to |3Vref/8|. SFDR, THD and SNR are improved, from 34.62-dB, 34.63-dB and 30.33-dB to 60.23-dB, 61.14-dB and 59.35-dB, respectively, for a 10-bit pipeline ADC.

Abstract: China has accomplished itself as a great power in world manufacturing industry. However, China still has a long way to go compared with other advanced countries; and China does not have advantages in labor costs compared with some developing countries such as India and Vietnam. Therefore, the export trade of China, especially the export of manufacturing industry, is in face of an unprecedented crisis. And whether can we ensure the sustainability of export trade in manufacturing industry becomes particularly important. This paper, based on Survival Analysis, makes a study of the duration of export trade relationships of the top ten countries represented by China, America, and Germany in manufacturing sub-sectors from 1995 to 2015. We found that China can maintain a long time trade relationship in export trade of manufacturing. And we can know from the cross-countries comparison of median survival time and survival rate of manufacturing sub-sectors that China’s export trade in manufacturing performs differently in different sub-sectors. And we should ensure the sustainability of export trade in manufacturing while simultaneously extend different treatment to different manufacturing sub-sectors.
Effects of Shenqi Jiedu Decoction on expressions of transforming growth factor-β1, smad2 and smad3 in renal tissues of rats with chronic renal failure induced by adenine

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of Shenqi Jiedu Decoction (SQJDD), a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine, on expressions of transforming growth factor beta1 (TGF-β1), smad2 and smad3 proteins in renal tissues of rats with chronic renal failure (CRF) induced by adenine, and to explore the mechanisms of SQJDD in treating CRF. Methods: Ninety healthy Wistar male rats were randomly divided into six groups: normal group, untreated group, losartan group, low-dose SQJDD group, medium-dose SQJDD group, and high-dose SQJDD group. Rat model of CRF was established by feeding 2.5% adenine. Levels of plasma creatinine (Cr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in different groups after model establishment were detected to estimate the renal function of rats with CRF. After eight-week treatment, levels of Cr, BUN, triacylglycerol (TAG), cholesterol (Chol) and albumin (ALB) in plasma were detected. Pathological changes of renal tissues were observed by HE staining. Protein expressions of TGF-β1, Smad2 and Smad3 in renal tissues were detected by Western blotting. Results: Compared with pretreatment, levels of Cr and BUN in the losartan group and the SQJDD groups were markedly decreased (P<0.01). After treatment, levels of Cr, BUN and Chol in all treated groups were lower than those in the untreated group (P<0.01, P<0.05). Levels of ALB in all treated groups were higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.01). Pathological lesions of renal tissues in all treated groups were lessened as compared with the untreated group (P<0.01). The Western blotting results showed that the protein expressions of TGF-β1, Smad2 and Smad3 in renal tissues in all treated groups were lower than those in the untreated group (P<0.01). Conclusion: SQJDD can delay the progress of CRF by inhibiting TGF-β1/Smads signal transduction pathway.
Purely Algebraic Method to Construct Toric Schemes
Ting Li
Mathematics , 2007,
Abstract: In this article, we first give some elementary proprieties of monoids and fans, then construct a toric scheme over an arbitrary ring, from a given fan. Using Valuative Criterion, we prove that this scheme is separated and give the sufficient and necessary condition when it is proper. We also study the regularity and logarithmic regularity of it. Finally we study the morphisms of toric schemes induced by the homomorphisms of fans.
The étale Homology and The Cycle Maps in Adic Coefficients
Ting Li
Mathematics , 2007,
Abstract: In this article, we define the l-adic homology for a morphism of schemes satisfying certain finiteness conditions. This homology has these functors similar to the Chow groups: proper push-forward, flat pull-back, base change, cap-product, etc. In particular on singular varieties, this kind of l-adic homology behaves much better that the classical l-adic cohomology. As an application, we give an much easier approach to construct the cycle maps for arbitrary algebraic schemes over fields of finite cohomology dimension. And we prove these cycle maps kill the algebraic equivalences and commute with the Chern action of locally free sheaves.
Log Structures on Generalized Semi-Stable Varieties
Ting Li
Mathematics , 2007,
Abstract: This is my PhD Thesis, part of it has published in Acta Mathematica Sinica. In this paper, a class of morphisms which have a kind of singularity weaker than normal crossing is considered. We construct the obstruction such that the so-called semi-stable log structures exists if and only if the obstruction vanishes. In the case of no power, if the obstruction vanishes, then the semi-stable log structure is unique up to a unique isomorphism. So we obtain a kind of canonical structures on this family of morphisms.
The $\ell$-adic Dualizing Complex on an Excellent Surface with Rational Singularities
Ting Li
Mathematics , 2008,
Abstract: In this article, we show that if $X$ is an excellent surface with rational singularities, the constant sheaf $\mathbb{Q}_{\ell}$ is a dualizing complex. In coefficient $\mathbb{Z}_{\ell}$, we also prove that the obstruction for $\mathbb{Z}_{\ell}$ to become a dualizing complex lying on the divisor class groups at singular points. As applications, we study the perverse sheaves and the weights of $\ell$-adic cohomology groups on such surfaces.
An Object-Oriented Approach of Keyword Querying over Fuzzy XML
Li, Ting
- , 2016, DOI: 10.20532/cit.2016.1002861
Abstract: Sa?etak As the fuzzy data management has become one of the main research topics and directions, the question of how to obtain the useful information by means of keyword query from fuzzy XML documents is becoming a subject of an increasing needed investigation. Considering the keyword query methods on crisp XML documents, smallest lowest common ancestor (SLCA) semantics is one of the most widely accepted semantics. When users propose the keyword query on fuzzy XML documents with the SLCA semantics, the query results are always incomplate, with low precision, and with no possibilities values returned. Most of keyword query semantics on XML documents only consider query results matching all keywords, yet users may also be interested in the query results matching partial keywords. To overcome these limitations, in this paper, we investigate how to obtain more comprehensive and meaningful results of keyword querying on fuzzy XML documents. We propose a semantics of object-oriented keyword querying on fuzzy XML documents. First, we introduce the concept of "object tree", analyze different types of matching result object trees and find the "minimum result object trees" which contain all keywords and "result object trees" which contain partial keywords. Then an object-oriented keyword query algorithm ROstack is proposed to obtain the root nodes of these matching result object trees, together with their possibilities. At last, experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed algorithm
